Last week, Shawn of Half Price Computer Books sent me an email telling me about a large lot of books he was auctioning, (approx. 18,000 books) and today I got another email from him telling me that he was starting the second auction, but that he was breaking it up into smaller lots ~1,000 book lots.  If you are interested in participating in the auction and getting a list from Shawn, the email I received is below for your reference.  If you want to participate, please email Shawn and request the spreadsheet he is referencing in his email.

As promised, here is the second offering of books for bids. I have changed this offering from the first list in response to those of you requesting a smaller offering or the ability to purchase single skids only.

 

With the busy holiday season fast approaching, here is the perfect opportunity to stock your shelves with a breadth of inventory that will be difficult to duplicate. Our warehouse move is your opportunity to stock up in time for holiday sales!

 

You will find attached a spreadsheet with 14 tabs across the bottom (starting with tab #3)  Each of the tabs represents a full pallet with as close to 1000 books as we could assemble.

 

We will be accepting bids on a pallet by pallet basis until the end of business on Wednesday September 20^th, 2006 (note the expedited timeframe so act accordingly).

 

Please email with the pallet(s) you are interested in purchasing and a bid for that pallet. You are welcome to bid on as many or as few pallets as you wish but note that we are selling the whole pallet, there is no picking titles. Note that these are new books, publisher hurts and remainders.

 

Shipping is on this bid is from Vancouver BC, Canada and winner of bid will be responsible for freight. We will look after the customs paperwork and clearance to make this as seamless a transaction as possible. Books will be shipped in gaylords/bins so please ensure you have an appropriate receiving dock or forklift.  

 

Payment in full on these pallets will be due within 72 hours of notification of winning bid.
